If you watch his hands with the video at half speed, you can see Jian Gomeshi fondle the balls of the dude on his right. The dude on the left used to perform on Jians right, but then got wise and moved to the middle; his hopping up and down all the time is really just a way of protecting his junk. In all seriousness though, this song makes me want to clean the wax out of my ears with a railroad spike.

These guys are VERY TALENTED musicians.The harmonizing that they achieve is incredible. They all play several instruments. They write, record, and produce their own music. They are a great live act in concert. The fact that they themselves are clever, witty, intelligent and highly educated men who have charismatic fun and comical sides capable of everything from satire to serious commentary on contemporary society and politics arts and culture made them worth listening to.While todays pop stars do not write or produce their own music.Often times modern pop artists can't carry a tune and have to use auto tune. Modern musicians are just using preprogrammed samples of others music committing plagiarism. These guys on the other hand HAD TALENT and still do! They are still making great music today and performing live. While not being called moxy fruvous these talented people still can be seen today. Mike ford and Murray Foster play in a band together. Murray has also written and directed Canadian Films as well as teaching songwriting and having played in the band Great Big Sea. Dave Matheson has continued acting and performing as a musician. The contribution they have all made to Canadian society should have been honoured and appreciated! Mike Ford travelled across Canada playing songs about history going to perform at schools to teach children about culture and history. Individuals like him showed up to do fundraisers in places like Owen Sound to raise enough money to keep our Summerfolk festival going otherwise there were years where it wouldn't have been able to continue and we would have lost a part of our arts and culture in our local community. They have played countless charity events and other social causes. The contribution ALL of them have made to Canada should NOT be discounted. Jian himself has made valuable contributions to society in modern arts and culture as a musician ,writer and political activist often times speaking out on behalf of persons who wouldn't have had a voice otherwise. His work and contribution to society should not be discounted because of what has happened. It doesn't take away what good they have done.

I LOVED Moxy Fruvous!! My now husband and I used to listen to their CDs while we were in university. We still love them...brings back some great memories! Their songs are especially poignant if you are from Toronto or the GTA.

This was back when music COULD be fun! They came out just before the Bare Naked Ladies, and I saw them at a music festival opening for BNL. You should watch King of Spain too :)

This stuff is cringeworthy, yes. But have you listened to BNL's early stuff? Some of it's terrible. These guys had musical and creative talent. You don't need to like it to appreciate that.

This music is probably about average at best, but what I don't get is why there's so many hate comments on this video but all the comments on Ronald Jenkees equally shitty music are super positive. I guess because Ronald Jenkees isn't a woman beater.
