The Mount of Transfiguration is a time of seeking Him for change to be more like Him, to be cleansed from the sins of the flesh, into His Holy nature. In this we hear the Father saying this is My Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him. We believe this passage is teaching us that no matter how grand our ideas are to bless the Lord, no matter how awesome they may be, it is still the Holy Father's good and perfect will to exalt Jesus Yeshua above any man or man's ideas.
