They did used to open some shows with this in 71/72, but also used to open sometimes with Mountain's "Long Red".

Ian and the boys were great, I saw them at the time of "all the young dudes" at the Ford Auditorium in Detroit, as far as I can remember they did not do this, Then I saw Ian at the time of "standing in my light" right after he released once bitten, twice shy, which was what I thought I would hear but did not.

Possibly not as recognizable as Mott because that might be Verden Allen on lead vocals...Think I can catch a little Ian in the background...Definitely sounds like Mick Ralphs' guitar...

This song is about the students shot at Kent State in 1970. CSN&Y.

yeah, I checked into it last night, your right, I couldn't believe it. Not the band I would guess would cover that song. I wonder why they picked it? Ogo57 do you know?

@suzycreamchez123 it IS Mott actually. this comes from the "All The Young Dudes-The Anthology" box set. ever heard about it? i'm a huge, old MTH fan,and i know what i do.

Who is this really? It's a CSN&Y song and this must be live. It surely is not Mott
