I've got to disagree, I really think morrisseys musicians just can't match the studio sound, specially with the smiths songs, they absolutely butcher this charming man, I suppose it's be asking a lot for them to match marr

Correct. The LIVE versions of Suedehead are way better than the Studio Version. I'm guessing he hadn't fine-tuned the song by the time of studio recording. Incredibly great song.
