Some of you get it, most of you don't. This is a man that grew up in NYC. He is expanding his music-style, but staying true to his roots based on the lyrics he writes. Ezra has more "punk rock" in his left pinky finger than anyone commenting on YouTube (including myself). So, if you want bands to stay the same, then listen to Discharge, or any other "I'm punk as fuck" backpatch-band you can buy/listen to. No one stays the same. Everyone evolves. So did we. Morning Glory is expanding, as is his friend Sturgeon. If you want to look at a group that has evolved, survived, thrived, then died..look at the Beastie Boys, Beginning to end. Or the Bad Brains. Morning Glory is true punk rock, no matter what the sound.

Its people like Ezra who carry on despite the struggles of addiction and urban wasteland bullshit, not to mention these fucking haters. I've read a lot about him and interviews done with him and from my understanding, he is a true visionary and artist who is ORIGINAL in his concepts to a certain degree. Hell, even though this is considered punk, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall him talking about just making a rock album with a vast variety of instruments straying from ska as well.
