my problem with Butterfly Effect is not the music. it's a decent album, nothing special though IMO. But it did kill their career. they never recovered from it. The fans just didn't like it. By the time they went back to their old style on 'Darkness...' it was already too late.

I do not agree with you. Each Moonspell album is unique, and specially Butterfly Effect, the most wild album that they're done. It's not easy to "digest", it's not "listener friendly", but once you hear it the way it should be, you will realize that it is a very strong album

Fernando seems like a nice guy to me. I know he is very intelligent. He has a doctorate in philosophy, or was at least working on it until Moonspell took off. Anyway, as much as i respect him, i can't help but feel that Moonspell's career is on the wane. 'The Butterfly Effect' did it. they should have never released that one. it screwed up royally.
