in a way smaller shows are better anyway....you get to be more up close and personal, and we all know what happens when you get too popular....you end up shit like slipknot, trivium etc...id rather not a bunch of faggots running around acting like they are hardcore viking/folk metal fans after one show....

oh I agree completely, just past experiences led me to put them in that venue... the next time will be very very different.

Paid attendence that night was about 120 people, not bad for a weeknight, everyone who walked away from that show however walked out talking about it, have told their friends... when they return things will be very different. Hopefully I get to do the show again :)

i didn't mind the venue either. matter of fact, i love the venue. really small, but very nice to see one of your favourite bands there. and Amorphis did play there, will Opeth opened for them i believe.

Twas a fantastic show. Agreed about the following. I think some strong repeated touring over here could change that. I don't personally mind the venue. I have a soft spot for it. Many a European metal band has popped their debut Toronto performance cherry at that venue. In Flames, Opeth, Moonspell and I believe Amorphis all played the Kathdralal their first times playing in Toronto.
