Moonbooter is an Electronic Music project located in the German Eifel. The man behind the project is Bernd Scholl (*1971), who already worked as a DJ, artist and music producer for club-orientated music in the 80s and 90s. At that time, he already loved the softer, classic Electronic Music.

After a break of some years, Bernd produces his first EM-album "Teralogica" in 2003, which was first released in 2004 at Syngate-Records. The album "devided" and "orbit number 2" (CD and DVD) followed. Soon after releasing his 4th album "Under Control" in 2007, Bernd Scholl founded his own music label "MellowJet-Records". MellowJet-Records released more than 100 international Albums so far.

Moonbooter ends his musical altercation with "conquest of space" and "history of NASA". Besides countless small Gigs, moonbooter played a lot of concerts at Planetarium Bochum, Gasometer Oberhausen, Ambient-Experience, Electronic-Circus, Satzvey Castle, Planetenmodell Hagen and many more. He presented his albums "Cosmoclimax and Cosmologica" at sold-out concerts at the Planetarium Bochum.

Additionally he writes articles and interviews for several magazines, does a lot of masterings and works, besides his label, as webdeveloper and designer for countless music- and web-projects.In 2009 moonbooter released his first political-motivated album (-trilogy), with "World of Apes 1" , which deals with the nuclear madness in the world. In contrast to his albums Cosmoclimax (2009) and Cosmologica (2010) which deal with the amazing phenomena in cosmos.

Moonbooters music can be characterized as rhythmic, melodic and challenging Electronic Music. Bernd himself calls it "Hybrid Electronic Music of the next Generation", because he always tries to combine actual styles and sounds with the roots of electronic music from the 70s and 80s. In sound and music his output is at an extremely high level, which is also honoured by press.

Dear Fan of Electronic Music,

I started with "moonbooter" in 2004. Until today, I released 11 albums and 4 additional surround DVDs.

A year ago I had the idea of a best-of album, collecting my personal favorit songs. After a first,

second, third attempt I recognized that this was impossible. There are too much songs coming from my

heart, to combine them on one album with about 70 minutes. So I cannot call this album "best of".

Finally I came up with the idea to call it simply "elected pieces (2004-2011)". Because all the choosen

songs keep the deepest spirit of each concept-album. That means it was a pure emotional decision at the end.

From the beginning, I decided to distribute the download (320kB/s MP3 including the full artwork) for free.

Cause I like to thank all my fans over the world for supporting me and so keeping the continuously

motivation to make music alive. Plus it´s also a cahnce to enthuse more people for my music.

All tracks except #4 on "elected pieces" are new mixed, (partly) remixed and all songs are remastered

with huge effort to get a homogeneous album with a more brilliant sound. I hope You will agree.
