One of The Moody Blues' greatest songs. Much prefer the album version.

Well first of all, they misidentified the name of the song as "Coming Home". Nrxt no one seems to know the origin of this recording, the venue, the date. if they recorded the entire show...so when you get more information...a researcher can see what turns up...I have different dates and venues listed for this recording.

For seven years now I've been waiting for a better quality upload of this video, without the warped sound. It's too bad there hasn't been one, as this is a sweet clip.

If you think this is a treat check out a version of gypsy by ' Dry Well ' for a more soulfull trip...

What a treat to see and hear. Even though this version is much cruder (possibly in part due to warping) it is still really great. Sort of like a garage version of the original song but done by the same band.

Listening to this is making me want to breath some herbal air, dust of the Tolkien and see what Bilbo is up to.

@truckintim87 It is Mike Pinder who´s playing the mellotron! If you look carefully between 1:35 and 1:44, you can see him!

at start and around 2 minutes there is a few shots of a drummer that is not Graham Edge of The Moody Blues and 2nd time a young man with blonde hair too..Great clip of the Gypsy..which reminds me of the start the Isle of Wight festival dvd early on..Mike Pinder is there somewhere too..to the right and there is a keyboard mellotron shot in there..
