such a great song, most of the time theses songs just come off as fake and preachy, but this one not only comes off as powerful and moving but it's also just a damn good song, what's crazy is how men were put in uniform without their choosing (averaging 19 years of age) and still got spat on as they returned, you gotta be some piece of shit to do that to a war veteran, these weren't nazi ss, if you value your quality of life in this country then you have to value those that made it all possible
