It took a while to find out what the song says in English , Senza Fine means endless or without end . Such a beautiful song and I would say that Monica Mancini version is the best . Yeah , I saw the film but the song 's melody is so relaxing and one of the best ever sung and played.,

I agree, it's hard not to fall in love with this song, especially with the lovely Ms. Mancini lending her beautiful voice to it, and whenever I should hear it, I instantly think of the Antonia Graza (the ship in Ghost Ship) as she was before all the awful things happened to her and her unfortunate passengers.The song harkens back to the days when ocean liners were the only way to travel over the seas, where ladies and gentlemen would dress in their best for dinner (perhaps enjoying an after dinner dance and cocktails to music like this), and the ships themselves were both technological marvels and objects of beauty and elegance, especially the "floating art palaces" of the Italian Line. Alas, all those lovely things were swept away in the name of mass-market "convenience" of the jumbo jet, and passenger ships became fat lumbering tourist traps instead of the stately ladies of the seas in order to survive becoming obsolete.For my money, I would rather go across on the likes of the Queen Mary, the United States, the Ile de France, or the Cristoforo Colombo, than have to suffer through the long and invasive airport security only to be stuffed into a flying cattle car for hours on end (to be fair to them, they used to be a grand and fun experience too in their earlier days, the soul's gone out of flying too these days).I wish we had some of the old ships back, for they are sorely missed!

Thinks Francesca Rettondini - Senza (Ghost ship movie original track I love this song it's ideal when you go to an underground classic bar with red carpet, red wall paper, brown furniture, man and women serving customers very smartly dressed. "Yes sir what would you like to drink." "I'll have a pint of ice cold Stella please." "Certainly on its way." At this point I sit down and listen to this song sang in front of me appreciating the Italian Lady singing and song me wearing my black trousers, black shinny shoes wearing a black shirt and white blazer dark framed glasses bold head smoking a cigar staring at her whilst sat next to a table around other couples on my own and admiring her true beauty and voice. As man I think most men would agree with me I think. Its the song which does it for me I haven't got a clue what she is singing and I don't care. But this is class.
