You can be punk no matter how you look bro. or what you listen to. its your state of mind and principles. anarchy IS NTO punk though. that was a pop label added by the sex pistols.

Quit tryin to make him feel bad for wanting to be apart of the punk community dude, EVERY punk is a poser at one point if u wanna ask anyone how they thought when they first got into punk theyll tell you. some of the bastards might deny it becuz theyre STILL all about image. but dont do that shit, one reason i quit going around alot of "punks" is because of how snooty and superficial the "scene" has gotten. Just enjoy the music and the message they want you to receieve from theyre lyrics.

Punk isn't a fashion statement. Also, if you're going to be an anarchist, go to Syria. See how that works out for you. I used to consider myself an anarchist, but then I started developing a more logical mindset over time.

Cool punk rock! I expanding my knowledge base of bands. My New Years resolution is to stay punk and anarchist and dress the part, so I am doing that. I am going to sit here online and learn everything I can about both. I also made the reservation to start reading again, so I am going read all my AK Press books and other books. I know a ton about punk rock already and anarchy as well, but learning more will be great.
