Well, looks like I'm done with "The Lonesome Crowded West". This has been fun, see you next time with "This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About"

Well all's not well

but I'm told that it'll all be quite nice

you'll be drowned in boots like Mafia

but your feet will still float like Christ's

and I'll be damned

they were right

I'm drowning upside down

my feet afloat like Christ's

I'm in heaven

trying to figure out which stack

they're going to stuff us atheists into

when Peter and his monkey laugh

and i laugh with them

I'm not sure what at

they point and say

we'll keep you in the back

polishing halos, baking manna and gas

well some guy comes in looking a bit like everyone i ever seen

he moves just like Crisco disco

breath 100% Listerine

he says looking at something else

but directing everything to me

ever time anyone gets on their knees to pray

well it makes my telephone ring

and i'll be damned

he said you were right

no one's running this whole thing

he had a theory too

he said that god takes care of himself

and you of you

it's all nice on ice alright

and it's not day

and it's not night

but it's all nice on ice alright.

Sorry I'm too lazy to fix the lyrics.

Actually all you brainiacs out there who think you know what Isaac brock meant when he wrote the song, you're all right, and you're all wrong. That's what makes it art. It's open to your interpretation. If it was cut and dry, the song wouldn't be as magical. All great art is left unexplained to one degree or another.

For everyone whose asking about the All Nice On Ice reference your thinking too much about it, he's talking about methamphetamines, "Ice" He uses the term in a lot of his songs and he was a frequent user lol, "It aint day and it aint night but its all nice on ice alright"

this song is about meeting god, and he's an asshole

i think of it as a metaphor for repentace, you can life your whole life wrong but as long as you change yourself in the end (put ice on it), it'll be all right

Funny because they basically copied their style from a 94 and 92 album. Still a great album, but cmon, educate yourself son.

if god takes care of himself. and you of you, then you are doing the same thing as god. doesn't that mean you are your own god? the one thing i cant put together about this song is the "it's all nice on ice alright" part. the only idea i have is that if he is on ice then he can not drown in the first verse, negating the entire rest of the song. the end to me basically says that he'd rather not have to die to find out.

I love their poetry.

Hopefully he is just trolling us. When it is released, it will be thousands of pages of his life and metaphors and stories about songs and it will be awesome!!! :D :D :D

Is there a reason Isaac Brock hasn't written a long-ass brick of an autobiography yet?

The best description of god I have heard. Plus: "God takes care of himself, and you of you."
