I could've gone my whole life without listening to this song, but I'm glad that I didn't. It's a soft song that reminds me of my hometown in California and no matter what, it always reminds me of the grey parts, the dry times, and how it felt like everyone was just floating by on vapors.

In my opinion some of their best work is... (In no particular order) : Dark centre of the Universe, Perfect Disguise, Gravity Rides Everything, Night on the sun, Sleepwalking, Talking shit about a pretty sunset.And then you have the more chaotic songs, Breakthrough, Head South, Dog paddle.I love all their songs.

I love every Modest Mouse album it just makes me a little sad realizing that they'll never make music in this style again. I'm not knocking the new stuff.I'm not being a "hipster". I just really like this style. It's so well put together but feels spontaneous at the same time. It's a sound they probably couldn't duplicate the feeling of even if they tried. So I'm not knocking them, OKAY?!!!!! fuck

moon & antarctica got me into mouse. once i discovered their earlier work they became an all time favorite. i wish i could connect with more people in my life over MM. albums like sad sappy sucker, long drive, etc. they mean a lot to me. isaac is one of my favorite songwriters ever.
