alot of local bands who have to travel to gigs/ festivals in order to expand and whatnot have to play the gigs for free, but the money they "make" is used to travel.

big bands? none. thats kind of the whole fucking point, there are lots of bands out there who will continue to make music and move forward in their band even when theyre not making a profit.

no they wont. there are plenty of bands who dont make any money off of their music but keep going because they love what they do, even if it means having to work a job.
