One of the masterpieces of psychedelic music. I bought this album and listened to it the day before I started 9th grade at a new school. Hearing this at the end of the two records (WOW/Grape Jam) put my head in a very peculiar place. Seemed to color my whole high-school experience! I get shivers every time I hear it. I wonder how much Michael Heyworth got in record royalties for this. With such a gorgeous voice I am surprised he didn't go on to a career either as a singer or as a voice artist for TV and radio.

Michael Heyworth (the name at the end) was the guy who wrote the lyrics as a result of winning a "Write a song for Moby Grape" contest sponsored by KFRC San Francisco. KHJ in Los Angeles did the same stunt with Buffalo Springfield.

This was a very significant piece. and a surprise on a record that was mostly "jam session" type material. One of the more truly inventive ideas to come out of the San Fransisco '60s scene. Around this same time, The Dead did "What's become of the Baby?" , very similar musically, but the lyrics there were much darker.

I love them but this was filler material if there ever was filler material.
