La ultima canción que Alexander "Skip" Spence compuso para Moby Grape. De su disco "20 Granite Creek" de 1971. Una delicia instrumental.

This definitely had to be one of Skippy's influences! I remember visiting him in San Jose just before the Doobie Brothers hit the charts.......Skippy had this huge Sitar sitting on the floor, he played a tune for me that was awesome.......was more into his Zen stages then! Just saying this song reminded me of that great day with Skip and the Doobies.

Skippy is playing a Koto, a Japanese 13-stringed instrument like a zither with moveable bridges to change pitch. The Koto was introduced to Japan from China in the 8th century, where it is called a zheng. It is the national instrument of Japan, but I give Spence credit for knowing its origin and therefore naming this tune Chinese Song.
