I agree! Microphones can be hidden / not seen. When I became a Catholic I was shocked by the use of mikes in small churches. Now I'm the one checking they work!

Adore this setting, although to my untrained ear it sounds as though the unaccompanied parts lose a quarter tone, judging by the jar when the organ comes back in. As an aside at the end, I do so hate the way in 2013 they still hold a huge microphone on a stick up to the officiant, it looks absolutely awful. Buy a radio mic! As an Anglican however I offer my support - for whatever little it is worth - to the good work that Francis is doing; he seems to be a true Christian.
