A change in direction for The Manics here with a more funky disco sound, and in my opinion, its outstanding!

Personally my fave MSP albums goes like this: 1) Generation Terrorists/ Gold Against The Soul/ The Holy Bible/ Everything Must Go/ This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours/ Know Your Enemy/ Lifeblood/ Send Away The Tigers/ Journal For Plague Lovers/ Postcards From A Young Man

No, I'm sorry, that's retarded.

Manic Street Preacher

Yeah that's true.

Completely disagree (but respect your opinion); for me it'd have to be: 1. The Holy Bible/Everything Must Go (can't decide), 2. Send Away The Tigers 3. Journal For Plague Lovers 4. Postcards From A Young Man 5. Generation Terrorists 6. This Is My Truth 7. Know Your Enemy 8. Gold Against The Soul 9. Lifeblood (Remember; Holy Bible and Everything Must Go are joint 1st). But they're all brilliant and masterpieces regardless. Richey's magnum opus was Holy Bible; Nicky's was Everything Must Go.

Nicky became a right prick throughout the Know Your Enemy album. Ask him, I'm sure he would tell you!

Oh really, since when is there only one interpretation of a song and it's lyrical content? I'll be sure to consult you anytime a song plants a seed in my brain, just to make sure I'm getting the correct message.

TMATMATMA

I doubt that's what the message is, somehow

The ending is great, it's what I have thought most of my life when I've had the misfortune of being in a dance club/disco. It is true poetic justice. The people who frequent those places are just as he says "Brain-dead mother fuckers".
