Erotic melodic. It's interesting how they were so poetic when writing erotic lyrics. Today it's all just rude and crude and in your face. I had to read the lyrics years ago to realize they were erotic lyrics. When I first heard this song, I was on a date. When I heard, "When I went down on you"... I went home and read the lyrics. I missed so much just listening to it. They throw in a lot more don't they? Ah the good old days of soft rock. Very poetic, yet steamy.

On this day in 1975 {May 12th} Jefferson Starship gave a free concert* for 60,000 fans in New York City's Central Park...Just a little over three months later on August 17th, 1975 "Miracles" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #82; eight weeks later on October 12th it would peak at #3 {for 3 weeks} and spent 17 weeks on the Top 100...Exactly four years later on May 12th, 1979 the group had a another free concert, with new lead singer Mickey Thomas, this concert was in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco...* The NYC concert was sponsored by radio station WNEW-FM, afterwards the station was presented with a $14,000 bill for cleaning up and damage done to the park...

Saw the new Starship featuring Kathy Richardson do it live in Bradenton, and they were super. One of rocks best ever songs.

I remember this song when I was a child and always loved it. Wow they just don't make music like they used to is a major understatement. Cool video too thanks

That song epitomizes soul love, I am now, just as moved as I was the first time I ever heard it. It is so NOT just about sex, it is about the depth of a soulful connection. Some never experience this, I am grateful to the Source that I have. Peace, love and light to all <3

I remember the first time I ever heard this song, I was sitting in the car and the long (more explicit) version came on the radio. I was amazed that the radio would play it, but it has been one of my favorite love songs ever since.
