We were lucky enough to host an exclusive performance by Minus The Bear recently aboard the Lightship95 in East London. The band recently released their new album 'Infinity Overhead' on Big Scary Monsters and here you can see them performing 'Diamond Lightning'.

Head to http://originals.last.fm/sessions/a-diamond-session-with-minus-the-bear/ for the full session including an interview with bass player Cory where we fielded questions from Last.fm users.

why does the camera man focus so much on the bassist instead of the only good musician in this band, the guitarist. Or the drummer hes good too. As stated below the rest are mediocre musicians. This band could have been godly. Still good though.

I don't get the dislike for this album. I enjoyed it immensely, just as I have with most of their other songs.

I will say, when I first bought the album I lost it. I was really close to breaking the cd out of disappointment. One day, I was cleaning the house and I forced myself to listen to the album on repeat for a few hours (crazy right..) Can safely say now that there isn't a single track on the album that I skip over -- but I did have to break it in. Kinda like sushi. It's an acquired taste. You certainly weren't wrong in being thrown off from what we're used to hearing from them.

ive listened to the entire album several times, like i said, it sounds boring and lazy. there are a couple ok tracks, but mostly filler.

Take your brain, now slow it down. Same band, same music, good lyrics. Just think 'coffee shop' over 'stadium.'

This album, they really forgot who they are in this one. Not horrible, but definitely boring and lazy.
