This kind of raw, heavy metal sound took ill in the late 70's and died in the last half of the 80's. I wept, as they closed the casket lid. BUT WAIT! Every so often, by some slim chance, we're lucky enough to find some little morsel of sound like this song Obviously, its a few years old, and I'm not sure where they are now, but I'm going to be looking. I have to say, "Hell Yeah! F'ckin awesome!!!

bin reading a lot lately on the net about how "grunge" killed off classic/80's metal. but in truth and it's just my opinion, the genre needed some fresh air. Bands like Europe were killing the Sleaze Metal vibe and were just ruining the whole era. The tired method of the sleaze number followed by the power ballad had become very tiresome and so many jumped on the bandwagon it was hard for decent acts like Cats n Boots, Johnny Crash, & Noisy Mama to even get noticed. Grunge was a fantastic time and really did give rock the kick up the butt it needed, even that era suffered the same fate the 80's metal did. but just like so many things it all came back around. we not only got post-grunge but we got a brand new wave of classic rock style bands that learnt from the mistakes of the past. and here with M$R is a prime example of what i'm talking about. killer riffs, the alley cat Bon Scott/Axe Rose vocal and best of all sleazy lyrics to make you grin like a 14 year old kid who just got his first hand job of the hottest chick on the block. rock ain't ever bin dead, nor will it ever leave us. and you what, that sounds like the kind of world I like to live in. it's not that way that you rock, it's the way that you roll.
