This is probably my second favorite Mike Oldfield guitar solo (after "Magic Touch").I remember that it was mentioned to Mike, a few years later, that Jon had said he loved everything about the song, except the "silly lyrics". This struck Mike as particularly odd, since Jon wrote the lyrics. ^_^

Shit hot guitar solo. That Gibson had a built in Midi/Synth as far as I know. Mike use to use patches to enhance the sound. That gnarly sound on the low strings is superb. Mike is the most underrated guitar god ever. There are guitarists who people vote as 'the best' and then there is Mike Oldfield the genius.

This one might take the cake on my playlist named "facepalm".

This looks like people were too excited about the new computer stuff in the 80's to notice that it's absolute rubbish.

Haha, this song brings back memories from when I was 3. I love how the video constantly shows off the amazing special effects that came out then xD

Mike complained that his records were not well marketed, so I suppose that's why I only heard about this song in 2013. And I was such a big fan of his, always scouring the record shops for new releases. You'd think that a single by two big stars like this would have got more publicity.

The usual peerless writing and production from Mike Oldfield with superb vocals from Jon Anderson. Mike Oldfield's musical talent never ceases to amaze. I know critically his material in the 80's was never given the recognition it deserved, I think it has taken until now to look back and realize just how outstanding his material was during this time.A few people have commented on the video, it might look a little silly now, but I remember when this came out, hardly anyone used CGI in music videos at this time, and Mike Oldfield released this with a video which was produced, I think, in house. He was one of the very few artists who had a Quantel Video Paintbox. A cripplingly expensive and complex device at the time which was capable of these kinds of effects back then. Now, of course, this can be done on a laptop, but back in the 80's this was truly groundbreaking stuff.

Such a ridiculously happy song, yes the lyrics are silly but all the same it is very catchy and it is so well performed particularly the guitar solo, it just makes me happy to hear it! Cracking!

Not the greatest music video IMO (you can tell it's from the Eighties!) but great song, especially the guitar solo :D Brings together one of my favourite vocalists and favourite musicians.
