Mike Johnson is a highly respected steel player in Nashville. If you expect the best when you see him and hear him you won't be disappointed. He has the rest of his musical life to write a song that will be considered a standard. Of course the songs that come to my mind are Sleep Walk, Steeling The Blues and Steel Guitar Rag. Many excellent steel players in this life never achieve this. They left this life very respected, playing someone else's compositions.
