A place of dreams.  "Slushy highway in the snow.  Lone VW going to New Mexico.  Pick up a hitchhiker, Eastern urban refugee, drop him off in Dillon, his comunal friends agree, can't drive back through Santa Rosa, so 'Stay the night for free.'" [copyright 2015 Little Darlin Music] ASCAP

TY ChrisMcRae for this...its always been my favorite tune from that LP. I listen to it often and imagine a western landscape and a rider oh horseback and....well you get the picture.

@nilsastherfan1 Yeah and I think the whole album is mystic and etheral... And so down-to-earth at the same time. It has a whole bunch of different layers... Cannot help you with the lyrics though

i owned this album in 1973 and listening now reminds me of how great Joe could transport me with a story line and haunting music to another time and place, the only other artist who comes close is Mark Knopfler ...thanks for posting the songs
