I sent an e-mail to Tim Smith via facebook a while back expressing my sadness that he had left the band but wishing him well on his new project 'Harp' & he replied personally to me thanking me for my kind comments. I was surprised to say the least that he took the time to do that & it says a lot about the man.

Hmm, hope it wasn't disappointing for you as Tim Smith the creative force that was Midlake really, left the band last year. The good news is that he has another project that he is currently working on called 'Harp' & it's my understanding that it's going to be amazing.
