Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd were NOT hard rock although they have been described as such. Led Zeppelin have even been described as Heavy Metal by some complete idiots. Besides, what is wrong with Hard Rock anyway ?

@ScotRanger1960 middle of the road didnt play hard rock like the bands you mentioned...i categorize them with t rex and the sweet, all the glam bands...they fit in well with them...a couple of big hits, an eye catching stage presence....it sells

@HeartRover57 I liked Soley Soley but not much else. They were nothing more than an avarage pop band. The best band from the early 70's ? Don't be so stupid. Better than Led Zeppelin ? Black Sabbath ? Deep Purple ? The Rolling Stones ? The Moody Blues ? The Who ? etc etc. It saddens to me to say it because Middle of the Road were Scottish just like me.
