I always liked this 80's R&B/Funk song from Mico Wave, the melody, vocals, and the synthesizers just set this off, this is another timeless 80's song...

I like this version better than the other version with the hard snare. The clap is better. Wish the clap was in the longer version though.

Could someone remind me what his wife and daughters name was? I know the daughter's name started with a T...something like Tanesha...I can't remember. He performed in Champaign, Urbana some years back at a neighborhood bar and sang Instant Replay for me and a friend. He actually remembered who I was and that I babysat for his daughter once upon a time. His ex-whife is actually the one that gave me all the things for my baby who is now 23 years old. I'm 41 now. At the time I was only 16.

This was about 25 years ago when the song was big...never thought a music star would live in an apartment in Urbana, Illinois about an hour and a half from Chicago. LOL!

Believe it or not he use to live in some apartments across the street from the ones I lived in. I babysat for his daughter when she was 1 year old and I think his ex-wife's name is Yolanda if I remember correctly.
