This is a rare live recording of Micky Dolenz singing,"Sometime In The Morning." I don't know the exact date this was taped, but based on how long i've owned it, I know it's from either the 80s or 90s. I'm pretty sure that is Davy singing backup. For years this was the only live recording i had of this song. This version was actually featured on the bootleg album "Micky Dolenz & Davy Jones Solo" or "Two Wise Monkees." I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS RECORDING!!! Enjoy

This song was on The Monkee's second album as well as on Micky's current album, "Remember," where Micky does a beautiful version of this Monkee's classic. I called Micky up one day a few years ago when he was a DJ for a short time on the radio and asked him if he still sang this song and he said he did! From the first time I heard it on, The Monkee's, show, I never forgot this song. We had the album and I am not surprised that it was written by Goffin/King. Micky is keeping this gorgeous song alive . . . . <3. And yes, that is Davy on backup vocals. How in the world did you get a copy of this live recording?? Wow!!11 years ago
