This is another great mid-80s tune! "Your Memory Ain't What It Used To Be" was from Mickey's "I Feel Good (About Lovin' You)" album. It reached #5 on the Billboard Country chart in 1986 (Epic 05744).

is it true that Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers wrote this song?

@jajvick Hmmm. You're partially correct. There seems to be kind of a mess of singles during this time from all sorts of albums. I double-checked, pulled out all the albums I have, and pulled up his discography on wikipedia. "Doo-Wah Days" charted after this song, but it's on the album "One And Only." Then, "Full Grown Fool" charted and it's back on "I Feel Good (About Lovin' You). Thanks for catching this! I'm correcting the description.
