This iss a rare recording by the Marketts for Warner Bros Records. The Marketts (originally called the Mar-kets) were formed in 1961 when Michael Z. Gordon (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1140093/) wrote their first hit song, "Surfer's Stomp and then followed that hit with another Gordon composition, "Out Of Limits". which was by far the biggest record ever made by the Marketts. Gordon won two BMI Awards for his songs, "Apologize" and "Out Of Limits" by the Marketts, one of the two groups founded by Gordon during his six years touring with The Routers and The Marketts. Gordon went on to become a successful movie producer including the highly acclaimed film, "Narc" with Ray Liotta and Jason Patric; Pulp Fiction and "Shortcut to Happiness" which was a 20 Million Dollar film which was never completed because the company that was supposed to pay half the money went bankrupt. There was a release years later but
that wasn't close to what it was supposed to be.
The hard-to find recording of Secret Agent was one of the few songs by the Marketts that was never released as a single but it should have been. It's definitely one of their better records.
