Funny this man didn't reach the highs. I was looking up high after hearing on Jeff Lorber's "keep on loving her'. Try listen to that song.

This song reminds me of something Howard Hewitt would've sung...it has that very distinct mid-late 80's slow jam sound. Definitely diggin' this right here. First heard him on Tower of Power's We Came to Play album and dug his voice ever since.

Used to play it a lot when it was first released. Best song on the entire album.

Saw this brotha in Tokyo, great concert. Was waiting for his next album but never heard anything from him again. Hope he is doing great. Heard he and Karen White were the singers for Jeff Lorber a long time ago. Not sure if that's right...

..i love jimmy jam and terry lewis! they're busy doing a MORRIS DAY AND THE TIME reunion with all new music!..still, i keep holding out hope that they'll do another albumn with michael jeffries and/or mr. alexander o'neal...but, i just saw poor alex's last perfomance on youtube...it's obvious he's wrestlign with his health and a serious drug problem(s)..but, i have no idea where michael is...i hope he's doing well and not working in a burger king somewhere...

hey, i'm back again! just another thought or two about michael jeffries....this albumn rock from beginning to end! kind of reminds me of alexander o'neal; only in the arrangements and vocal styles..if there was any justice in the world, this albumn should have went 5 times platinum! sadly, another great artist and a soulful masterpeiece buried under a mountainous avalanche called crappy pop commercial music! the music industry is shady and it needs to be taken over!
