Slayd5000 presents... Michael Jackson - Rock With You (Original Album Mix) (Promo LP)
This is the original album version of "Rock With You". It only appeared for a short time on early pressings of Michael's 1978 "Off The Wall" set. When the track was pulled for a single release, handclaps and fingersnaps were overdubbed onto the original mix to create what became the single version. This new mix replaced the original "clapless & snapless" mix on all subsequent pressings of "Off The Wall".

The first pressings of the "Off the Wall" CD, pressed in Japan, have this original album mix of "Rock With You." I own a copy. ("Get on the Floor" is a slightly different mix on the original LP, too, also on the original CD issue.)10 years ago
