too bad there no footage of the making of that album like there is for Spike's "Bad, 25 Anniversary" documentary. In my opinion "Off the Wall" is right there or better than its successors.

If Rod Temperton retired, he could make it as a very good music teacher

Beautiful! Historical information so wonderful to listen to thank you for posting this. Listening to this on August 29 2010 in San Francisco on the birthday of Mr. Michael Jackson, thinking of him very much and I wish his family peace of mind on this special day.

@deftonesfan192 Also check out the Heatwave website (for some reason it's not allowing me to put another website link on here). But look up the heatwave official web site. It has a bunch of olld footage of heatwave in their prime, and many of Roddy's mosy memorable toons.

@deftonesfan192 If you like groovin' British, funky, jazzy, and beautifuls songs with cool ass chord changes and a positive message check out "Incognito." And while you're there check out Maysa (Maysa Leak), she has sung on several Incognito CD's and is another fabulous artist that I love learning her tunes. Deftone, let me know what you are into please?

@deftonesfan192 But the best place to start is definitely the Heatwave disc's "Too Hot To Handle" and "Central Heating" they are loaded with fabulous Rod's tunes. And as I said I'm willing to trade out some stuff for the third disc "Hot Property?" Let me know what you think? I also enjoy learning his tunes.

@deftonesfan192 That's about it as far as I know, I've wondered what else does he have out there that I've never heard. There's bound to be more. I've searched on the net and I believe there are some other things out there but that's it as far as I know. You know all the Michael Jackson stuff I presume.

@deftonesfan192 He wrote a great song on Patti Austin's Disc "Carry On" entitled "Giving In To Love." He wrote two songs on Karen Carpenters solo album "Karen Carpenter" "Lovelines" and "If We Try."

@deftonesfan192 He also wrote the only two good songs on the Bodies and Souls by Manhattan Transfer "Spice Of Life" and "Mystery" the same song made popular by Anita Baker. By the way, Janice Siegal blows Anita Bakers version out of the planet. I always buy Manhattan Transfer Disc just to hear what Janis Siegal has to offer.

@deftonesfan192 He's done work great stuff with Quincy Jones on the disc "Q's Juke Joint" such as "You Put A Move On My Heart" (featuring the beautiful Tamia), "Rock With You" (the same Michael Jackson featuring Brandy) and "Slow Jams."

@deftonesfan192 Man can I, he is my man. He first came on the international music scene in the 70's as far as I know with the group Heatwave. Their first two albums "Too Hot Too Handle" and "Central Heating" are still avaiable on disc. Their third album "Hot Property" has never been issued on disc but was just as good as the first two. But I just happen to have a copy that a friend burned to CD for me. We can trade out some music.
