No, to bleach your skin you use a cream that destroys the pigment in your skin. It's not a cover up, it's permenently lightening your skin tone with every use. That was the point I was making earlier, it'd be impossible to use cover up every day for 30+ years lol. Well not impossible but very very very very annoying and time consuming.

Pardon my ignorance. Isn't "skin bleaching" just covering the skin with a bunch of light-toned make up? If it is, then it was impossible for him to do that every single day of his life. I know he destroyed all his pigment to get rid of the uneven skin tone, but I don't think skin bleaching is the way to do that?

I don't care if he did either, that we can agree on lol. I never cared what he looked like, he was beautiful inside, which made him beautiful outside, and his music means the world to me. A day without Michael's music is a wasted day, IMO.

Why do I get a sense of hostility here? I'm not saying anything bad about Michael, I've been a huge fan since I was 3 years old, but I'm a realist. He was a human being with an autoimmune disease attacking the pigment cells in his skin, and a common "treatment" for that is to use a product that destroys the pigment evenly instead of having a bunch of splotches. If I had vitiligo, I'd do the same as most sufferers of the disease do, like Michael, they bleach their skin to have an even tone.

Since YOU are such an expert, I assume you "bleach your skin". Truthfully, I don't give a shit if Michael used makeup, bleached his skin or put a paper bag over his head, I just absolutely LOVE him. Watching Michael Jackson perform is a religious experience, and I am not even religious.
