Something almost all of you are missing is, you are not hearing this as the audience did, This is very clearly some form of mix of direct sounds. The backing singers can hardly be heard, MJ doesn't fully finish many of the words, clearly indicating that a lot of the time sound is being played that we can not hear. This video sounds choppy because all the bits of sound thats being played over the speakers are not in this recording.

Increible MEGACAGADA de Van Hallen que provoca que el propio Michael con la mano le exhorte a continuar con la última nota medio compas más para que no se note la cagada. En realidad Eddie empieza a hacaer chorradas con la guitarra antes del solo y luego entra mal y la única solución es alargar el final pero yo creo que Michael no se la perdonó en la puta vida (breve).

Clearly EVH was on something. He didn't even know when to start the solo. Glad he has sobered up since. Would love to hear him do this as part of his guitar solo in concert.

Eddie missed a part of the solo, so was forced to improvise and wait a until the next bar before he could finish the solo. Shit happens live....none of you even PLAY guitar, so it's best to shut you fucking mouths.
