I had already been a fan of Swans a while when I first heard this and when I did I remember thinking "who is this trashy couple they recorded arguing". I was kind of horrified to learn it was them, because it made MG and J seem small and flawed and so much more human than I had imagined them to be. However, if you ever meet them, you realize they are quite human. All too human.
