wow, i'd never have guessed from simply his music how likeable this guy appears to be. but then again, if i could have, the music wouldn't be as literally insanely awesome, as it is.

I have such an enormous crush on Michael Gira it's not even on a human level.

I hate when interviewers always try to speak for people. Is this something they're trained to do?

I knew very little about Swans going in, but "The Seer" might be the best album I've ever heard. A true experience. 5 out of 5 stars.. all that jazz.

I agree. Especially since they are a huge influence on Neurosis, Napalm Death, and Godflesh, People are just ignorant elitist assholes.

Is it really impossible to not mention shit like that on good videos ? It's as if one has to read it everywhere now.

Usually the metal bands who make the scariest music are the ones who don't take themselves too seriously such as Bathory.

Im pretty new to SWANS however im fucking in love with the Public Castration is a good idea album. That being said im a metal head through and through however I have no problem accepting Public castration as the heaviest bleakest album ever which im pretty sure it is. I gotta say though im not sure why SWANS fans would look down on metal I mean I would've assumed their fanbase would've consisted heavily of metal fans.

Comparing him to God? Really? I mean come on, he may be good, he may be great, but he is NO Michael Gira!!
