@KillJoy353 as a matter of fact he is, he has written great lyrics and some kickass riffs whatsmore he's one of the fastest out there but he doesnt use his talent into that. his solos are not at all creative just the same licks and some fast playing that sometimes doesnt make sense for example look at the mechanix and the four horsemen solo (perfect comparison as kirk plays it exactly how its played by dave) the mechanix may be faster but theres not emotion in it in contrast with kirks playing.

@sudifo It's funny that you're in denial about it. James can't play lead. Kirk can't play lead as well as Dave can, and James, Kirk, and Lars can't write for every instrument. That being said, Metallica was my first thrash band I got into, and they have a very dear place in my heart, so I'm not just saying this to be a troll.

@Metalupyourass0011 That would be sweet, I love that part too but in order for them to play it live they need special permission from Lynyrd Skynyrd because its from Sweet Home Alabama. And there are WAY too many legal issues with that band.

How come they ALWAYS skip the slow part of the song? the slow part makes it 7 mins long but its always shortened to 5...
