Odd... I literally just went from watching/listening to the album version of this song, to this live version.. and the tuning is different? I know they have been tuning deeper over the years to account for James' vocals and such, but not from the album to the stage, haha... what gives? This live version is definitely a lower tuning than the album...

this is sad to see really. they seem desperate to reprise the old thrash sound despite the fact that Lars simply cannot play this stuff live anymore. If you are relying on the studio to the point where you have to change parts when you play them live then it shouldn't be on the album. shame as James sounds better than he has in a while. Lars and kirk on the other hand have just not aged well unfortunately.
