This song still has so much meaning to me... I locked myself in my room for hours listening to this song. When I was a child I was severly abused, and I remember praying to god as early as 6 years old asking him to take me away for this place. I also remember the first time I ever listened to fade to black I was 13 by then and wishing more and more for the pain to end. I would lock myself in my room and play this song as loud as my stero would go, screaming along with James' beautiful voice
