okay... metallica's great, but the ramones are cool. and this distinction is very important in understanding why this cover doesn't really work. We all know Metallica had crazy chops and can do a ten minute track with many time signature changes and two guitar solos. So it seems obvious that they should be able to perform The Ramones' three chord simplicity. But The Ramones' were giving it their all the whole damn time. Every song was the best they could do.
