Mine first crush on a GBV song was on Tractor Rape Chain... Then I listened to Alien Lanes and fell in love with the whole album... Alien Lanes is one of that few albums that you listen to, without thinking of skip a track... Don´t know if my english is good... Greetings from a Brazil GBV fan!

'Propeller' was the first full LP I listened to from GBV. The first song that really got me stuck to them tho was 'Motor Away' - one of my favorite songs of ALL time. This song is one of my favorite songs from this album. But of course - nothing beats 'Over the Neptune/Mesh Gear Fox'! ;D

Not exactly what I'd call THE standout track on "Propeller," but hey -- to each his own. There are only several hundred in the GBV canon to choose from! For me it was "Tractor Rape Chain." I was a doing a college radio show and thought, "What what a peculiar title for a song." So I dropped the needle on Side 1, Track 3 of "Bee Thousand." Eureka! My life has never been the same. ... Thanks for uploading this!
