The funniest argument ever over whether the band is a "Djent" band or something else. That moment when it was Fedrik Thordendal himself who used it in a descriptive way. People talking about "Just cause its 8 string guitar does/doesn't mean its djent" Like you define a genre based on that >.> It doesn't define them, the actual description of the genre being applicable to the bands music is why its Djent. And I've literally never heard an argument so illogical as "Because they started it I wouldnt group them in with Djent bands." What? No seriously. "Just because he was the first president I wouldnt group him in with all the other ones"/ "Just because he made this equation I wouldn't group Einstein in with the list of people who use this equation." They should do more stuff like this instead of that extremely raw and edgy stuff of the last albums (which I like, just for the record). I've got almost all of their CDs, and seeing them perform live was simply awesome, but I'd really love to hear a bit more of these "holdsworthian" sounds...
