Great album. I really wish someone would release the 1972 television special, of the same name, featuring Merle, Bonnie Owens, and The Strangers performing the songs from the album, in concert.

would love to have a copy of this. Bill was a great friend and man and mentor to me during my time in bakersfield. even took me into bucks studio and let me lay vocals on tracks he had recorded while playing with merle' whats happened to the friendly man ' love at eleven years old ' white cliffs of dover ' dont get married . Thought the world of bill and always will. He helped me a lot and it was a privlege just knowing him and him being a part of my life.
