Outlaw Radio has a large collection of hard to find, out of print songs in its library. All songs are original recordings. And this is just one of them. If there is a song that you have been looking for and have yet to find, send me a request cause there is a chance that I have it.

Thanks, Snoop Diddy Program Director at Outlaw Radio

"A Shoulder to Cry On" is the title of a great song written by Merle Haggard, and recorded by Charley Pride. It was released in January 1973 as the first single from the album Sweet Country.

I agree that Bonnie Owens certainly loved Merle..she gave his life some class and helped him become the great artist that he is. This is my opinion...after all he wrote that song "Today I Started Loving You Again." Janelle in Houston

Another great song! No one holds a candle to this Might Merle! The best country artist that ever lived. Hope he lives a long time...maybe at least to 100! Janelle in Houston

A great sad country song from a master of the genre. I once heard the late, wonderful Nicolette Larsen sing it in her living room. She just plucked the words out of the air and made magic, just the way Hag does on the record.
