We all get hurt by people that we think love us as much as we love them. We deserve to be happy! So, we ''brush ourselves off'', and get back up on our feet, stronger than ever! I'm 60, and refuse to give up, even though 11 years of my life was spent with someone who only cares for me like a friend. He might not have wanted me to be hurt, but he could have been honest with me to begin with, if friends was the only thing he wanted. I still care for him, but I can't trust him, with what he says to me, personally. Don't ever give up! Things will get better. God Bless you all.

@ Bradley Thompson, I know how you feel. I have two husbands that I was married to for years. The first one was 21 years and the second was 11 years,and both are dead, from different causes. Then, at 49, over 11 years ago, I thought I had someone who loved me, and felt the same as I did, only to find that they never intended to be more than a friend to me, to begin with.
