I was there at the Mesa Arts Center that night. Deva did a set, then Krishna did a set. If I recall correctly, I think this repeated one more time before they all got onstage together. It was about a 4 hour show, and I have to admit that I didn't fully appreciate the magnificence of what was happening at the time.I too felt the voices didn't resonate with one another. Who was this guy anyway? The show was billed as Deva Premal with no mention of Krishna Das. To juxtapose the classically-trained sweetness of her vocals with the raspy quality of his left me feeling robbed; his gravelly voice grated on me. Much of the audience began leaving before they appeared onstage together (long show!). But I have to say that my aversion to the voice melted within six months, and Krishna Das is now one of my favorite performers.So glad to see the show was recorded, and I look forward discovering whether any more songs from that night have been posted!Peace and Blessings

The problem is that Krishna Das is overpowering the voice of Deva Premal that to me is the best Mantra singer of all....One
