I like Mercy me, and this is a very catchy feel good song, but not entirely Biblically accurate. The work of grace and the cross makes us forgiven of our sin and seen as righteous before God when we step into eternity. And though our eternal destiny is secure, while we are here on this earth we are in the “process” of becoming flawless and more like Christ. I am truly thankful for the cross, but it's inaccurate to say I or anyone else is flawless, only Christ. Though we are reborn, Christians will still mess up and sin, and we need God’s grace daily. We must grow into spiritual maturity and take up our cross daily and follow Him and let the Holy Spirit transform us by the renewing of our minds. Always liked Mercy Me, but here lately their songs to seems to cheapen God's grace and de-emphasize personal holiness.8 years ago
