Awesome song.. I remember trying to find this album back in the nineties and could never find it then finally I got an EP with Car Wash Hair on it. Funny now how all we have to do is just type in a title to a song or not even that just a lyric and you can find 20 different versions of said song your looking for.. I love it and hate it.. Just no Romance in it. My wife allows me to go poke around for vinyl once a month which kinda takes me back to those days of the hunt!! LOL.

@dannyapeshit remind me somebody, what does indi/alternative/college rock of the 90's have in common with hiphop- other than the date? agree with you on the fugazi/pavement point o' course. the best music is never discovered by the populace, and even by the discerning..often after the fact!

@dannyapeshit Just saw your comment after I posted mine. I agree 100 percentile. Though I still had a lot of fun in the 90s at some good shows. Dinosaur Jr., Jellyfish, The Violent Femmes, Faith No More.. though one could also argue those guys formed in the 80s or late 80s as well. Jellyfish started out as Beatnik Beach, most of them did I think. Then they formed Jellyfish in 1991 I think. Long time ago.

@goodmood3 I'd have to say the 80s were the best :) But the 90s were a close run. After 1996 though too many bands started sounding too much like each other, grunge took over way too much.. I've never been so sick of flannel and burnt colors and still sick of that today. I was an alterna-teen/grunge teen.. so I got sick of it at about 25 years old.. oh yeah I was a teenager till I was 25 too :) Look up The Sugar HIll Gang Rappers Delight, any Sir Mix-Alot track, and the Beastie Boys are 80s.

@goodmood3 not so sure about that. The good Rock bands like this band, Pavement, Fugazi and BJM remained under the radar. Remember the 90's was mainstreamed by all that alternative garbage eg. Limp Bizkit, Korn, Creed and Blink 182. It was cool to be hardcore, goth or skate punk. (hated it) And hip hop in the 90's being a better argument, though is still questionable. The 80's was when Hip Hop actually had messages and a lot of fun with legends like EPMD, Public Enemy, NWA and Run DMC.
